We have been working in Ethiopia since 1999.  We work with a core group of eight producer groups who each face their own challenges, either through:

• poverty (average incomes in Ethiopia are £57 per year);
• physical disability (this may include its own stigma for certain illnesses);
• or religious persecution (we work with a small of Eritrean refugees, who fled their country after the government started to imprison Christians.  Currently over 2,000  are still imprisoned)

Our orders started  with just £200 worth of sample goods back in 1999.  Since then  we have transferred over £50,000 to Ethiopia (including a small share to Nepal), currently at a rate of about £10,000 per year.   This has helped some of our partner's incomes to increase by 500 per cent.  We believe that all this has been achieved due to God's blessing on our work..
